How is a myQNAPcloud SSL certificate generated and installed?

When you use the myQNAPcloud App in QTS to install your SSL certificate, a key pair consisting of a public key and a private key will be generated by QTS. The public key will be sent to myQNAPcloud servers for generating the myQNAPcloud SSL certificate for your NAS. The private key will stay forever in your NAS. Both the myQNAPcloud SSL certificate and the corresponding private key will be installed to the web server in your NAS, and your access to NAS over HTTPS protocol is now protected by the certificate. If you change the device name of your NAS or migrate your SSL certificate to another NAS, the aforementioned procedure will be executed again, and a new key pair will be generated. The procedure has been verified and will be constantly audited by the SSL Certificate Authority to ensure compliancy with industry best practices.
