Why can't I request SSL certificates from Let's Encrypt?
Let's Encrypt uses one of several ACME protocol challenges to validate that your device controls its domain. When you request a certificate, a conforming ACME server will attempt to connect to the device on port 80 or 443. The device must accept the connection on either port.
